Q:
Winchester Model 121 single shot 22lr. From what I have read, late 60s, early 70s era. A buddy of mine has one that was his fathers and it appears that it is missing the back "component" to the bolt. There are exposed threads that make me think a nut of some sort threads onto this piece and is necessary for cycling the firing pin that is currently not setting. Is it worth looking for that specific missing part or replacing the bolt altogether?

There are two of those rifles being offered on www.gunbroker.com with the auction ending today. The highest of eleven bids on one of them is $68, and the other has four bids, with a high bid of less than $65.
Customer Service at Numrich may help you find just that small part you need for much less money.
