JMO~ Rock River Arms gives you more for your Dollar then
DPMS, and YES they all will kill yots. It comes down to how much MONEY you can spend on Gun and Scope!
I agree with Treestand-I have not missed a coyote with my rockriver--After the gun and a good scope I was around $1200 dollars for the setup that I wanted. My 2 DPMS rifles are cheaper and shoot like it to. Most rock river hunting AR's come with a two stage trigger which is well worth the money.
Another vote for the Rock River .223 or the .308 either one I have more experience with the .308 than the .223.
I missed a coyote last week with my Bushmaster varminter so I guess I can't recommend it. I did check its zero and lube (for cycling) a couple hours prior to the shot and it put three shots in the same hole right where the cross hair was a 100 yards. The cycling was excellent.
These things are so deadly on coyotes that they are unsportsman-like. You don't miss many but I managed to do it. I considered this one a very lucky coyote rather than a bad rifle.
The DPMS Oracle upper is on sale at MidwayUSA for $372. This won't be quite as accurate as the Bushy Varminter but it will sure kill coyotes. I shoot 50g VMax at 3450 fps with Benchmark powder (with 24 inch barrel). Put a good scope and mounts on it and you will be surprised at its accuracy. I have a 6-24x on mine but I use if for prairie dogs a lot. A 4-14x would be good for yotes only. Consider a Nikon Monarch or a Vortex scope.
