does anyone have a tc venture, how do u like and what caliber do u suggest. i want something for deer and blackbear i was thinking a 175gr 7mm rem mag,a 30-06 in 180gr, or a 300 win mag in a 190gr? thanks for the anwsers

no experience but if you get one made prior to Oct 2011 it has been recalled and needs the trigger worked. I guess there were reports of the gun firing with the safety on.

If anything has T/C on it I won't own it.

ive got the venture in .308. its agreat rifle for the money. it shoots as good as they say it does. it aint pretty, or the smoothest rifle your gonna find, but mine is very accurate. any caliber you listed will work fine. the 06 with 180 grn. ammo would be my choice of the ones you listed. you would still have plenty power, and ammo will be cheaper, and easier to find. hope this helps.
