I'm not a gun smith and don't have experience with either of these nice rifles. However, you could put peep sights on a stick if you really wanted too. Neither of these rifles makes it easy though as their rear sight is too far forward for a rear peep to just replace it and they aren't drilled and tapped for a rear peep. A gunsmith could easily replace the front sight and you could get them drilled and tapped for a rear peep. You could also consider mounting the rear peep on the wood of the stock if you want to do it yourself. Peep sights are better for target shooting but the sights you have will likely be better for hunting. Good luck.
