My .30-06 (if it makes a difference it is a .30-06 springfield) is shooting erratically. Sometimes it is shooting right on, and others the shots will be twelve inches away from each other. I have never had a group better than 5 or 6 inches. All this is at about 50 yards. There have been 3 different people that have shot it, and I know I am not the best shot, but when other people shoot it, they get the same groups. I shoot 165 grain core-lokts. What could be the problem? Could it be ammo related? What tests could I do to find out/rule out that is was a certain problem?
