I don't think it would even fire since the shotgun would hit the primer in the center and I believe the priming agent in a 22 is located in the rim. So I think that it is a bad idea that wouldn't even work.
Yes you can you should totally do it and be sure and take lots of pictures, even better youtube it with the title " If this works I'm about to f myself up"
