Q:
Are there non threaded chokes because my shotguns barel is not threaded and I wanted to put a choke tube on it.

sounds like you have a fixed choke. Check the barrel stamp to see what it is.

You have a fixed choke shotgun. To utilize screw in chokes you will need to have a gun smith ream and thread the muzzle for tubes. Check out the link below:

You would have to have the gun threaded for tubes. You can open and tighten chokes by choosing different shotshells. It takes some work patterning different loads but you might find your fixed choke is more versatile than you think.

Maybe a Poly-Choke would work? Not sure if they require a threaded barrel.

Not sure why I got voted voted down on my poly-choke suggestion; it would solve the problem being asked. Also, went to the poly-choke website and they will fit a non threaded barrel.
