Consult your insurance agent for a local gun shop or firearms appraiser that he uses. Tell the appraiser you want the replacement value figure.

The 2005 Blue Book notes that LC Smiths are prized by collectors so the pricing is only a guide. If you plan to sell the gun have it appraised by an expert.

90% condition $1500 + 750 (20ga premium) = $2250

Add another $500 if the gun has auto ejectors.

Interesting that this very gun in 16 gauge was reviewed in the April/2010 American Rifleman magazine. They got the value from Blue Book of Gun Values (subscriptions are available online). There is a chance a public library has a copy. Still best to find an appraiser.
