Q:
I currently own a Remington 870 Express that I use hunting waterfowl and pheasant. I am looking for an entry level semi-auto and was wondering if anyone could recommend one? I've looked at the Stoeger M2000 and the Remington 11-87 Sportsman. Any opinions? Thanks!

If you like your 870, I would stick with remington. They are nice guns
As mentionned in the above post, if your 870 fits you then stick with a Remington. I've had 870's for years and loved them, they fit me like a glove.
I recently bought a used Marocchi O/U sight unseen because it had 3 inch chambers and I simply wanted an O/U. Bad idea, it was a great gun, but it didn't fit me at all. It was just unpleasant to shoot. I sold it and looked at a few guns (brownings, berettas, even passed on a new Vinci) but ended up buying an 11-87 Supermag Waterfoul in September and I couldn't be happier.
I've had the best season in years with it. ABSOLUTELY ZERO failures (shooting everything from 2-3/4" target loads to 3-1/2" Black Cloud) Sunday night it knocked down 3 big Canadas with 2 shells! Bottom line, go with what is most comfortable for you. For me it was the proven 11-87.
Look at a Benelli
If you like the 870 and 1100 or 11-87 will be the right gun for you.
an* either one should satisfy you.
