I'd be interested in learning your opinion, since you own one. I examined an O/U 20 gauge recently at a gunshow, never having seen one before, and thought it was attractively priced. The one I examined had extractors, not ejectors, and the stock was well proportioned but there was no figure in the wood. No surprise, it was very affordably priced and I thought it was a used shotgun, but it was new.
Stoeger is an importer, not a manufacturer. I believe the shotguns are made in Turkey, and the spectrum of quality from Turkey's gunmakers is broad, so I haven't been able to get an accurate picture of customer satisfaction on Stoeger's shotguns. You commented that you love yours. What gauge and barrel length?
I've heard a lot of good things about the Stoeger guns and as long as you don't expect too much from a moderately priced gun, you'll be well satisfied.
Have a Stoeger .410 SxS purchased new about 5 years ago.
Have sent it back to the factory twice for warranty repairs. Still does not fire every time you pull the trigger. It has a double trigger.
The guy at the gun shop swears this is the only time someone has had a problem with their Stoeger.

I have a M2000 12 gauge, 30 inch barrel and a waterfowl camo synthetic stock. The M2000 is semi auto. For the price it was an amazing buy. It has the same inertia driven action as Benelli and Beretta, so basically its just a little step down from those guns but a much cheaper price. I would recommend it to anyone and im surprised i don't see many other people with them.
I have an O/U in 20 gauge and it works fine.
It did, however, not shoot to point of aim with the bead. I bought it as a backup turkey gun and put fiber optic sights on which fixed the problem.
Aint nothing like a Used Browning A-5,M 2000 or Older Remington 870 fixed choke type,Ithaca M/37s, Guns that stood the Test of Time! most are in the $275-to $700

A friend of mine has the O/U Condour 12ga. He loves it I shot it a few times and really would have no complaints other than it being very tight to open action, however I'm sure that it will loosen some once it is broken in.
All I know about Stoeger shotguns is the coach model, in various builds. Our SASS posse beats them up bad, but they keep working. They're pretty much the standard.
I figure if they can take that much use, the hunting ones should last forever.
