I have a 141 that, according to what I found online, was built somewhere around 1959. Mine shoots very well and has accounted for many bushytails over the years.
The model 142k 22-S-LR" is manufactured from 1949 to 1957.......I'm not certain how much it's worth right now!!!!!!!
i live in ct the factory was shut down years before i was even born (at least 20 i would say) i have two myself that still work fine a .22 mag and a .410 i know the .410 is about 40 or more years old hope this kinda gives you an idea
The Mossberg 142 was prized as a accurate hunting rifle. I never saw any with feed or extraction problems. I don't believe that it's worth a whole lot of money but I think that you have an excellent rifle to hunt with.
