i believe the winchester you have is a .30 cal. or basically a 30-30. i have one and run that ammo through it. i'll check on both through my library and get back to you.
You have a 30.30 and if I'm not mistaken the shotgun has damascus barrels and if so dont shoot it.
the winchester you have is definately a 30-30 but was produced in 5 different versions. WCF stands for winchester center fire. i would need more info but it was produced in Sporting Rifle, Fancy Sporting Rifle,Extra lightweight Rifle, Carbine and Trapper's Carbine. if you can find out which one it was i could tell you more.
the only other info on the gun, is nickle steel barrel especially for smokeless powder. and the s/n. it is a slender, and somewhat lightweight rifle.
i believe the shot gun has a damascus barrel but not sure if it is safe to shoot. i believe it was made by baker gun and forging.there were several made. do you have anymore info on it?
Is the double similar to these:

Condition and engraving mean a lot regarding value.
DO NOT TRY TO CLEAN(outside parts) OR RE-CONDITION THEM !
This will DECREASE their "value" to collectors(if you were to sell them.
I say keep them and pass them "down".
mlh.. the double looks just like the first example you showed. i do not plan on selling them, will go to my grandson when the time comes.just wanted some info on them. thanks for all the imput.
