Depends how loose it feel. If it still feels tight between 150 and 200. If it feels loose and sloppy pass on it there a ton of those guns around. 50 -100 if you want it but bring it to a pro to have the action repaired. Had one that was like this a while back.
That low?! Granted the online sites charge an arm-and-a-leg, but I didn't see anything on them for less than $500. The local pawn store has a few post-64 and they're at an avg. of $275. The guy I'm talking to wants $350. (does 'vintage' or the '40s era age get a premium?)
....just found a site that says that serial number dates to 1941 if that matters.
Nice !
See if he'll "split the diff." and go $325.00.
Good deal though if not "sloppy".
I'm with MN_deer. The Winchester 94 is a classic model and recently has been selling for top notch prices ($500+) especially guns that were produced before the 1960's. If its in good condition and you can get it for less that $500, I would say you've made out pretty well on the deal.
Take a look at the 94s on Williams Gunsight's list (not the 94 AE/Angle Ejects). These are in good to excellent condition. Figure you might pick them up for about 10% less than the price listed.

Jaqua's has some, too:

Watch gunbroker.com for a while and see what they are actually selling for there to give you a pretty good idea.
half the time gunbroker.com cheats you i would say around 200-300 just depends
$250-$350
