Does anyone here hunt bear? I've heard that my home of Eastern NC is a pretty good place but have never gotten the chance to try it out.

This will be my 25th year with the bear gang, look at my profile for a few pics. I read in an older issue of "Petersen's Hunting" that NC will be the next big bear capitol of the eastern US.
Archery bear opens in WV Oct 15th. Might head that way.
I like to think that I have a truce with the bears, I won't hunt them if they agree to not hunt me.
