I hunt black bear pretty well every season and thats a new one for me, I have heard of prey in distress calls for bear but never a cub in distress.I'd probally be reluctant to use it seeing how fierce sow bears can be with cubs,BUT, on the other hand in during the spring hunt in could be an extremely effective call on boar bears seeing how they will kill and eat any cubs they discover.
