Does anyone have a good recipe for making bratwrust out of pig or javelina? or really just in general. thanks

Try www.penzeys.com we have a local store but they sell on line. They will have what you need plus. They also offer some pretty good recipes.

PS If you like your food and drink spiced. Penzeys has a spice that was used in whatever farflung corner of the world you might have come from or visited. The also have simple but exact receipts that will liven up your summer cook out.

The only way I have found to cook javelina is pit, bbq, chili, or jerky. The meat is not great in sausage I have tired a half dozen recipes that i use and none have turned out very good. I just ended up putting it in chile.

Really? ok thanks Mike. I had brawts made from javelina one time and I thought they werent to bad but I also didnt make them so I am not really sure. but the chilie I would like to try and the jerky.
