I am in Northeast Kansas and I am curious if anyone has seen any wolves in my area. There have been several sightings of wolves in Leavenworth county in the past few years, the most recent one was last fall. I have found tracks that I think may be wolf tracks, but am not positive. Anybody have any sightings or stories of wolves in my area? My grandpa has talked of seeing wolves in the area back in the 50's or 60's. Thanks, Red Angus P.S. We do have mountain lions pass through on a regular basis. The first big cat that I saw was coal black and the same size as a mountain lion, that was 5 or six years ago.
