More than adequate,30-30 is a fine round for hogs.

The 30/30 is a find Caliber, Its all about the Ammo Winchester 170Gr Silver Tip/Hornady 160Gr Flex-Tip work well on Hogs or a 12Ga Shotgun with Slugs.

It should be adequate for all but the heaviest hogzillas, some of which exceed 500 pounds in weight. I think the North American record is a little over 1,000 pounds for the largest hog taken by a hunter.
