I believe there are a few down there, but I have never hunted that area. There are a lot more in Larimer County (GMUs 7,8,19) and Jackson County (GMUs 6, 131, and I think 5).
We have a cabin there, and I know the elk are plentiful. I was curious because I think some were released near Browns Lakes a while back.
People from my family have seen moose there while fishing some high mountain streams. I wanted to hear a good moose huntin' story.
