Q:
Does anybody have any expierience hunting the Ogala National Grassland in northwestern Nebraska? I'm thinking about heading out there for a Pronghorn bowhunt and in need of some advice. Thanks!

I held decoy for a friend hunting there. Lots of goats. Also fairly pressured by goat hunting and western Nebraska standards. Not much cover, but there is some topography. There is actually quite a bit of water for that area due to stock dams and stock tanks. Not sure what else to tell you, other than it is a neat area and probably worth hunting.
This would be my first Pronghorn hunt and we are thinking about camping at Toadstool Geological Park. Would you recommend hunting from a blind, or spot and stalk with decoys?
