Q:
I recently shot my very first coyote and never have had to skin one. It took me about 3 hrs to get it done and when I was, I had torn the ears and couldnt get the tail out right. Also had a lot of trouble at the feet, getting the pad and all off. Can anyone help me!! Is there a faster way? What about a homemade tail puller? Any help would be great!

Osgood's comment isn't gibberish. It's just lacking punctuation. I've also added a few words that help, but you could easily understand it without:

I thank you. Also, those sons of you-know[-whats] killed my dog [and the] neighbor kids' dog, too. I got tooled-up best I can. Time to hunt. He was a great dog, so here goes in the name of Buddy.

Coyotes killed two beloved pets in his neighborhood, and he's hoping to knock a few down. I'd do the same.

you can use two 16 penny nails as a tail striper . one on each side of the tail bone squeeze them with one hand and pull the bone with the other . its not always possible to do but if you skin a coyote or any animal when the carcass is still warm it is a whole lot easier . a sharp knife and patients is all that is needed for the feet and ears

use a scalpel or a razor knife for legs and stuff and a small sharp knife for the rest. to pull the tail you can take a peice of board and cut a notch in it work the pelt away from the base of the tail and slip the board in with the notch on the tail bone press it hard against the floor and pull but you would be better off to to buy one for $3. Another thing that will speed up the process is that after you get the legs and tail done to hang it up from its back legs like a deer and and just pull the fur down to the front legs so you dont have to cut all the way.(fur buyers use a hydralic machine that pulls them down for them you could probaly use a winch and acomplish the same thing)
