Q:
Mr. Cooper just got himself a new "Smokeless" Pole from Savage. According to his post it offers impressive ballistics, near .458 Win Mag with some of the listed loads. Talk about a bone cruncher on both ends! Anyone else taken the smoke out of thier smoke pole?

smokeless is news to me. High velocity too?
I don't know if I'll be shooting the full house loads at 2800fps with a 45 cal 250 grain. My shoulder hurts just thinking about it and off the bench YOW!!
Nope, would'nt trade my Hawken for anything.
I honestly like sifting through the smoke cloud to see a deer slowly materialize unharmed!!!
i will stick with my side lock and black powder and round balls .there is just some thing about the white cloud hanging in the air , that puts a smile on my face .
Lots of states where Muzzleloader=Black Powder or substitute like Pyrodex.
OK so I’m a Smokeless Freak!
I don’t like to smoke!!
