Doesn't Kansas or Nebraska have a program like this as well. It allows hunters to access certain CRP land that farmers have set aside for that purpose. In the end the farmer receives extra money for allowing access than having his land just enrolled in CRP. I'm not 100% sure of that, but I think its a reasonable idea. More access to land means more opportunities for hunter to hunt. Sparks an increase in license sales, the some of the revenue from license fees goes to pay the farmers for allowing access to their land. In the end I think it would probably make a lot more hunters happier and I don't think their would be a whole lot of trouble as long as the hunters show respect for the land owners and the land.
JHawes thanks for clearing that up

Any South Dakotan's who can vouch for this system? I am a Minnesotan, and I am not sure how i feel about this.
If you can't get the link to work, just go to www.startribune.com then Club Outdoors
i think some knuckle heads will ruin it by not paying and not leaving the land better than found
but its a good idea but bad in reality
