I don't get a chance to examine many hens for spurs since it's illegal to kill them here, but I know for a fact that they occasionally have beards. As a matter of fact, I saw one at the feeder in front of my camp day before yesterday---it was scraggly and not very long, but there was no question it was a beard and there was no question she was a hen.

I don't know about spurs, but they do on occasion produce a beard, just like a doe with antlers. Not the heavy growth of a gobbler, but a beard just the same.

Definitely beards. Regulations in Michigan allow hunters to take a bearded turkey in the Spring ... bearded hens are okay, though it is best to let them walk if you want the flock to prosper and multiply.

They can have spurs and beards. It is just a different variation in them.

Hens do develop spurs at times. They very often develop beards which are in all respects the same as a gobblers except for sheer size.

I have never heard of a hen with spurs, but around where I live bearded hens are actually not that hard to find. Two years ago I killed a bearded hen.
