Q:
My Mathews Z7 with it's paralell limbs will not fit in my old trusty Plano bow case. I travel a pretty good bit and I need a reliable case. Does anyone have any good sugestions on one that doesn't break the bank?

I bought a plano all-weather case for my Z7. It has locks on it that would make it nice for air travel. It cost about $100. Its much heavier than the standard plano cases.

I've been researching with the intent to replace my old lightweight Plano and the Plano All-Weather looks to be one of the toughest for the money. I was intending on going that route. So you're 3 for 3. I'd say go for it.

Thanks for all the comments. Looks like I will go with the Plan All-Weather. Now, where can I pick one up?

Have some kid at high school make you a nice one out of wood. Better than some factory made plastic thing. If those plastic cases don't have real hinges on them, stay away! The folding sheet plastic hinges don't last very long. Made to be thrown away.

If you spend a lot of money on a bow why not buy an expensive nice case to put it in? I bout a lakewoods bow case and its awesome. You can leave your quiver attactched so all you need to do is pull it out and go. Its only 60 bucks more compared to the plano all-weather case, and holds everything you need in it. Practice arrows, range finder, tool kit, release. Id go big or go home!
