Q:
Would a Recurve Bow Stringer be a good investment? I understand it is suppose to eliminate limb twist, but is it really that noticeable and helpful?

Yes. Stringers are cheap and worth every penny.

We are human bow stringers therefore you don't need to buy anything. Put the bottom curve ahead of your left ankle with the bow between your legs, exiting over your right rump. Put the center of the bow over your rump and with your right hand push the upper tip forward until you can slide the string in place with your left hand. Recurves don't have enough tension in their limbs to torque seriously. I strung my recurve this way for many years and never had a problem.

its your choice I can do both and do both depending on the situation but i first learned to hunt and shoot with a recurve. if you are new i always suggest a stringer they are easy to use, cheap, and can save you a big headache.
