Another day, another broadhead question.
100 grn Thunderheads. I've downed elk, bear, whitetails, mulies, turkeys, rabbit, coon, squirrels, geese, chipmunks and several robin hoods off the range with them.
I didnt realize there were so many Muzzy fans. I also use the Muzzy 3 blade, 100 grain. I think that to kill a deer, all you need is a good shot and a sharp point. Those expandables seem unnecessary. If you need to use expandables, its probably your shooting, not your broadhead.
I shoot a solid fixed blade head ive tested several heads fixed blade and mechanical, and by the way mechanicals do have there place for the right bow however not a huge fan. One piece of interesting news for everyone out there is last year i put some "New archery product" shrink tube blazer vanes with the crest attached to them on my arrows the twisters they are awesome at sending just about any fixed blade down range with awesome pinpoint heat. Im so glad i found them and if you can boil water you can crest and fletch your arrows with that pro look and they shoot great i would say the best ive ever shot give them a try you won't be sorry you did and live the outdoor dream! And keep your broadheads SHARP!

Thunderheads -100gr
N.A.P Nitron 100gr. 3 blade fixed. Shoot like field points, deadly too
100 grain 3 Blade Muzzy fixed blades
I hear expandables fly more consistently, but I don't trust them.
100 grain G5 Montecs, they fly straight and are super easy to resharpen.
125 Magnus Stingers, Tey are reliable, good quality, and strong.
Crimson Croc. Fixed, cut on contact, two edges, with bleeders. Replaceable blades. Hits to same point of aim as my field points. Heavy blood trails.
G5 montecs. they do the job
100 grains by the way
I will be packing 100 grain Muzzy.

I used to make my own out of spent 223 cases, steel plate, and wooden shafts, but now I'm going to be using Muzzy 4 blade (thanks to the FSHuntress)
100 gr. G5 Montec's do a great job but I've heard good things about the Rage
muzzy's, they kill and don't break.
I'll go for the G5 Montec 100 grainers.

Rage 3 blade huge wound channel!!! would not recament rage 2 blade however holes close easy makeing for bad blood trails.
Thunderhead 100 grain....never had a reason to change, although I have considered it.
Rage 3-blade. Because Lee & Tiffany do. :)
4-blade 100 grain Muzzy...super sharp and tough too. Plus, they fly just like a field point.
Agreed with Beekeeper answer above and A + 1 for you sir!!!
