The basic archery set-up will be a ground blind with a decoy about 15 yards away, facing the blind. The gobbler will always come in facing the decoy. Therefore putting the gobbler with in 15 yards and when he struts you put an arrow up his rear end. Do not pull back until the fan covers his face.
I find mechanicals to be worthless cutting thru feather.
ditto buckhunter, but add that a gobbler will come to face an opposing male, so you will need a jake decoy for him to face, not sure if they do that with hens, never let one get close enough to find out.

neck or nothing shoot anywhere else and the arrow will bounce off
