I shoot a whisker biscuit. They are probably the best hunting rest in my opinion. They do give you some issues with wrinkling and sometimes minor tearing of vanes when you shoot a lot but the stability they offer while hunting they are worth it. Also if you use blazer or other high quality vanes you should not have as many issues.

aluminum shaft arrows?

Have you tried carbon yet?

I have and I'll never shoot another aluminum again!

Trophy Ridge is coming out with a new rest this spring. It's a new style drop away that has removed many of the bugs from the current model.
