i am planning on making a ghillie suit for next year (this year if i get it done)and was wondering what material to use i have seen alot of people using juke cord and was wondering if this or burlap would be bettter

burlap but watch what you get if you can see the spaces get it it will be easier to strip i made one trust me it will take awile . but it will be worth it. if you want it to go faster cut it into strips you will loose some but it goes faster and also tie some strips on their it will help break you up . ill be putting a video on you tube hope fully tomorrow on how to make one really cheap ill post the link in here tomorrow

A ghillie is hot as fire. Go with a leaf suit. I have one that has a liner that can be taken out which makes it ideal for cold weather as well as hot weather. It is also easy to wash and dries quickly. A friend uses a ghillie for coyote hunting and it definitely offers concealment, but I am convinced I'm going to find him dead from dehydration one day -- or maybe I won't find him -- just smell him eventually.
