45lbs draw should be plenty for a deer, just pick closer shots. You may still want to check local regulations because most states have a bottom line weight limit. I would think 45 would be well above that tho

yes my first deer was killed with a draw weight of i beleive 35 lbs? just place your shot... illiois draw weight limit is 40lbs ur state may be different
