Q:
This sounds like a dumb question but I'm wondering if bowhunting in the morning is any good for deer. We hunt all day during rifle season but no one in the family hunts during the morning with a bow. I never see it on tv so I'm just wondering. I'm not looking for a trophy or anything, I just want to put some meat in the freezer because three deerless years is too much for me!!

Bowhunting mornings can be very productive.

The reason your don't see the celebrities bowhunting in the morning is that the celebrities don't want to wake up. They are hunting ground that has such a high concentration of unpressured deer that they have plenty of opportunity to make a kill in a hour of afternoon hunting. Also, they almost always will be hunting food plots and in this scenario they can expect the deer to come out in the late afternoon to feed. If they hunted mornings, they may bump the deer out of the fields.
