Q:
Question 1-After I shot my 4-pt the other evening and was waiting to leave my stand to track, 3 does moved into the area from 2 directions. One came upon the spot the buck had been hit, and became very interested in the smells. From about 50 yards away, the other 2 sprinted over and the 3 had a scrum of scraping and sniffing and jumping over each other at that location. What gives? Could he have peed when hit and it got them riled up? Just a heavy dose of fur and such getting their curiosity up?

I had a few buddies that hunted a shared stand. One got aa nice buck and field dressed the deer about 15 yards from the stand and camera. The other was all pissed til he took down the stand and cam. After he got home he saw that the gut pile was visited about 10 min after it appeared by a nice 10 point followed by a couple other nice 4-8 pointers! They must smell scent thats released from a dying deer and their curiosity makes them investigate? Not sure but its a strange thing!
