Q:
i have recently been having problems with my remington 1100. I can not get a tight group at 50 yards. I have a bushnell trophy red dot on the gun and i can not put a slug in the same spot twice, do you have any sugestions on how to fix this problem?

Is you scope mounted to the guns receiver? If so it will be very hard to get acceptable groups as the barrel and receiver are not mated together in a rigid fashion, i.e. screwed together.
The best accuracy with a shotgun an slugs generally comes when you use a cantilever scope mount which is fixed to the barrel.
Other might be's:
Load selection, try different loads. Sabo slugs in a smooth bore barrel?
You should try out a choke. It will group your shot tighter espeacially at those long ranges.
I've been very unimpressed with Bushnell in the past. I had a Bushnell Trophy 3-9x40 on the last Rifle I had. It would not stay sighted in. Got rid of it and bought a Leupold.
If you want another Red Dot try a Leupold.
