Q:
I need a new hunting pack. Which would you suggest: a badlands super daypack or a badlands hybrid? They look similar and I read that the main difference is that the hybrid has more pockets. If so, is it worth the extra twenty bucks?

Of the two, I would pick the superday. I have a couple buddies that have them and like them. One guy says his squeecks. Eberlestock and Mystery Ranch are other quality packs to consider. For lightweight options check out what Kifaru and Kuiu are bringing to the table. Also, Tenzing(sp?) is a new comer that might be worth a look. I'm currently using an eberlestock X1A for a day pack and really like it.
Off the top of my head I couldn't tell you which model mine is but I sure like my Badlands pack. Three main body compartments and two internal side pockets plus two external water bottle pockets. It will take a hydration bladder as well. Truly a well thought out pack.
