G5 Montec is the toughest of the modern very accurate fixed blades. You can usually kill multiple deer with one if you resharpen. Penetration is the best. 100 is enough. I like 125, or even heavier for the recurve, but that's just me. I'm not a speed guy.
Muzzy three blades are hard to beat and have taken many a deer. A 100 grain is just about perfect. Speed is a good thing... it can save you a deer now and then by helping to prevent them from dodging the arrow.
100 grain is just about perfect i think. its a great balance between speed and penetration. and if your looking for what broadhead to use, then id use a mussy 3 blade.
Shane, I think the Indian's speed was in the range. How they ever got one with a stone tied to a stick is another question. I'm sure they would have loved a good Muzzy. :-)

How did the indians ever get any deer with all that dodging of their slow arrows?

Monetec G5 for the brand but the weight of the tip has to matched to what your draw weight and arrow weight are.
