The big box and chain department stores rotate merchandise on a seasonal basis so off season is usually a good time to get the good clearance deals.

Our buying that made in china crap is our only hope. As long as we are China's best customer they won't call in all of our debt they bought. DC keeps spending money we don't have and China keeps loaning it to us because we use it to buy their crap. Walmart is at the fore front of saving our economy by selling junk made in China so China will keep loaning Oh-bummer money that our great grand kids will have to pay back. Ah! global economics.

They seem to carry their hats in waves. Every few months they get a new set of designs in the leading cammo patterns. I needed a new hat and got a cool Mossy Oak Obsession one the other day.

Scent removal products, detergents, and the like are usually marked way down about now. Buy for next Fall and save. Might even see some steel shot on sale.

Wrangle cam jeans was 22, now 11. Camo leafy wear was 49, now 30. lots of diving crankbaits, buzz baits and spin baits for 1/2 off. Trolling motor 30% off, Fire Safe was 150, now 25. these are just a few things I've picked up lately at Wally's world.

They seem to have a hard time keeping ammo in stock, so I don't expect to see any clearance sales on that.

usually you can pick up scent killer products for cheap now, and at our store they have a ton of deer mineral and attracts on sale, they even have some deer feeders half off right now.

ive bought hunting licenses there, but usually its just a bunch of cheap stuff there that wont do you any good, shop at bass pro, gander mountain, and cabelas, they obviously cant match a walmart price but youll get better gear and obviously a greater selection.

Mine had Strike King red-eye shad for $3, usually 6 bucks, work great on bass. Rebel tiny craws were $3 too, usually close to 6 bucks, killer on brown trout. I stocked up. I usually get my next years scent detergents and sprays now too, but I blew my fun money on lures that trip. Had lots of hi-dollar Rapala's on clearance too. The lures are made over seas, whether you buy em on sale at Wally world, or pay full price someplace else. I'll save a little coin when I can.

You are absolutely correct! At the end of every hunting season, I continually check our area Walmart stores to look for clearance specials so I can buy ahead for the next hunting season. I purchased a discounted blaze orange hunting coat the other day at Walmart for only $17.00. The regular price was $59.00. Another good place to look for discounted specials is Dick's Sporting Goods.
