I agree with Kentucky, I would also put out minernal block, cheaper than deercane.

Mineral block- salt, Mix it in the dirt or gravel. I usually do that so it last for years!

Corn and "blocks" are what we use here.
I've used "cane" with some success too !

I know a guy who once hung raw carrots like Christmas ornaments on pine tree branches near his stand, but it didn't work.
He now tells me he has had some success with peanut butter smeared on an oak post near his stand. The deer lick the peanut butter down to bare wood.
