Us a fawn in distress call, does wil come runing.
Go to were the does are. Hunt food sources.
Just go to where you shot your buck and keep an eye out for does.
The only issue with hunting where I got the buck is that on Fort Campbell you have to call and try to get an area. Right now the area I got the buck is bow only. Not to mention that the areas are not always the same. I have hunted the same area over and over the last week and I was there again tonight. The tracks are fresh and there are more than on Sat when I was there. It is driving me crazy. I sat on an open area waiting for them to come and feed or come through and nothing again after hitting call all afternoon.
I'm with Cgull here. Use the "fawn in distress" call, but be CAREFUL doe's are NOT the only things that will come runnin' !
