I didn't get to go yet this year but my friend shot a nice doe and missed a 6 pointer.
On opening day a guy that got to my afternoon stand location before me shot one.
Me and my Brother in law, Hunted Sat. Sun. Mon. & Tues. He shot a nice doe Mon. night which we couldn't find until after the hunt Tues. After we dressed out the deer it was already starting to turn green, what a waste. He also shot a spiker Tues. morning, because he didn't know he got the doe. Me on the other hand got skunked. AGAIN !
haha...love the question! it was a BAD opening!!! I passed on a good sized 6 point, but didn't see a thing 2 1/2 years or older. Being in the 50's all week didn't help. Good luck!
