Has anybody used the dew claws from a buck for deer lure? I was told the bucks have a gland in the dew claws. and if you grind the dew claw. and set it out for hunting. it works great to bring in deer? i wonder if this would work for mule deer?

I have heard of people using it for wwhitetails. I would assume that mule deer have similar gland as well. I would say try it and let us know how it works!
That's news to me. The chief scent gland is on the hock of the hind legs. The musk drips down the legs to the hooves. Or the musk is scraped off as the deer walks through brush or grass. I think this one is a myth.
The gland on the the foot is called the interdigital gland and it is located between the toes.
