well i am now 16 and i still havnty got that chance. wait i did have a change on two buck but i havnt hit one yet. the one was a 6 point and the other was 4 point. the 4 point was with my 30-30 and i forgot to take the safty off. the other was a 6 with bow and i shot right over him. its startin to tick me off
i havent yet.

First buck when I was 16 I harvested a small fork. It dropped on the spot. When my dad came over to look for it with me I took him to a spot that was 20 yrds short the buck was not there so I assumed it ran away. I was devestated for a second and a half. First doe when I was 13 I missed my first shot and head shot it on the second (I was not aiming for the head). Both great memories
Shot my first deer at six. Have took a few more since then.
Got my fist buck at six. 8pt, still have the horns.

this year
I was 14 years old
17, yesterday.
First buck was when I was 12. It was a 12 point double drop tine, that was the first and only whitetail buck that I shot in the last 17 years. That drought was ended with a 3x5 mulie buck this year.
10 yrs old with a Remington 16ga. W/ 00 buck. 8pt.
I was twelve, back in 1957. I was on a deer drive sitting by the same tree as my dad. I killed the seven point buck with buckshot from a 20 ga. double barreled Stevens. My feet began to touch the ground again some time the next day.
15 years old.. Shot it through the heart at 125 yards. Have it shoulder mounted on my wall as my Birthday present the next year.. scored 152..
10 years later and I still haven't had the chance at one better. and have only shot one buck with a rifle since then.
This year i am 15 and shot my first buck which was a 4 point on opening day with a rifle

I got really lucky.........!
Age 13. A little four point (one side) muley with a 30-06 sporterized Springfield. That was a LONG time ago! Shot more than fifty deer and a dozen elk with that gun before I retired it.

at age 20 a little 4pt
i shot a button buck when i i was 14 and i had shot a doe with my bow earlier in the year, the next year i shot a 8 point and a doe, and this year i shot another 8 point
i was 41 got it four years ago.. nice 8 point with 18.5 inch spread. nothing close since.

14... first year I was old enough for a license. They can get them at a yournger age in most states today.

14, shoot a 8 point mule deer.
klee_2011, it was an 8. about 140 pounds. nothing huge. but he looked like a beast in that scope! hang in there bub, you'll get one. i never thought i would til i saw him walkin right at me. Just pray the night before and you'll be impressed with what happens.
im 12 and didnt get anything so far
