Q:
Well this commin season I might get a chance to hunt with Team realtree. One of the Warrant officers I work with hunts with them often so hes gonna try and hook me up! Question is how many of you would like to hunt on a TV show or just be in a great hunting cabin? Other question is how many ppl actually have hunted on Tv or hunted with some known hunting teams?

I was chosen for a special veteran's elk hunt in Kentucky in 2007 that aired on Elk County Chronicles. It was a great experience. There were a lot of guys out there that had a lot of hunting knowledge and tips of the trade. I would really recommend taking advantage of the opportunity.

I dont think i am ready to go hunting on tv but i would definatly go hunt with those guys becuase they are obviously really good and you can always learn something. I always try to hunt with guys that seem to get more kills than my self, the same way i try to fish with people that are better than me. i am always trying to learn and pick up on small things that make a big difference and these guys know those little things

Being a young hunter, i would love to spend a week in a great hunting cabin and learn from the best. I could take this information, become a better hunter, and maybe one day have my own show.

I once hunted with a local guy who had a popular TV show in Canada and US. They weren't filming the day we met in the field. We subsequently became good friends. My late son was especially fond of him. He and I were always supposed to get out for a filming (he loved my dog) but it just never happened. No big deal to me. I'm used to hunting alone and my voice doesn't carry very well so it probably would have been problematic anyway. And look at that ugly mug! Ugh! That would have made the ratings go to hell!

The tags were donated to RMEF by landowners and they were all cow tags which was fine with me. That was my first elk and I am hooked. It is a much different experience than any other hunting. I hope for a bull tag one of these days.

I myself, have never really thought of it, I know that I would love to hunt in some of the places they hunt. I would love to be able to go,just once in my life, after the buck of a life-time. I have been hunting sence I was a teenager, to put meet on the table, and have never seen the caliber of bucks that all of these hunting show have. My wife on the other hand, Its Brenda Valentine, she would fall out of her boots just to hunt with Brenda.

I have no desire to be on Tv, but would like to hunt some of the areas these guys hunt, and i'd like to see if these guys are for real or full of it. I'm sure there's some of both. Good luck with your hunt

If I can get a free hunt out of it, I wouldn't mind. But the best hunts I ever been on is the ones I did it all myself and even if I came home empty handed I still had a good time!

As much staging and posturing as I see on some TV shows, I admit I would like to go once, Just to see how it's done. Maybe some people smart enough to get some good advice, too.

And I've heard the catering is great!

I think it would be good as a learning tool, but really have no great desire to be on television. As long as the guys don't mind answering a lot of questions and sharing a lot of stories, I think it would be great.
Good Luck.
