Bow hunting because I love the skill that it takes to be successful. I also love having to be close to the animal I am about to take. I would bow hunt everyday of the season if I could.
What "season" is it !
I love them all for different/same reasons.
Same - I'm out hunting with family/friends,just outside, etc.
Different - Love the "thrill" of how close you have to be to bow hunt successfuly.
M/L - I have a "cap lock" that was "built by a Great Uncle that I LOVE to hunt with.
Gun - I just love to shoot.
Gun season opens this Saturday and I'm excited. My plan is to hunt an area and glass the ridges and ease around with my climber. I do love Archery the best, there are times I like to use a rifle to hike back farther into the hills. When I do find a hot spot, I will come back during archery season and hunt it.
I like both personally. I've been close with both gun and bow. I'm a first time bow hunter this year to be exact but pretty impressed with how close I can actually get and the fact it extends my season so much.
well for a long time i liked guns until i started shooting a bow.now my buddie killed 2 deer with his bow before i could so ima bow hunt hard and see if i can get mine too.so after ive shot 1 with my alpine i think il like bow better
I enjoy both of them but find that bow hunting can be more exciting because the deer are up close and you usually have lots of time for anticipation that builds an adrenilin rush. Rifle hunting can be that way at times too though.

I don't hunt whitetail but I like gun hunting more than bow hunting. I just started bowhunting this year.

According to the season is the best answer.
I personally like guns better, you can reach out and touch much further away.

Gun hunting this year. Dont have a bow at this time! But If I did it depends on what season it is!
bow hunting no doubt. i love the challenge and its just so much more exciting. you dont get that from gun hunting the way you get it from bow hunting.
I like bow hunting better because you are only 20 yards from them if you sit for them and it is more challenging.
Always gun hunting. Pick the proper caliber and velocity for a clean kill at the maximum range in your area.
