Has any one had any luck with a Rattle bag for deer or would you just stick to a nice pair of sheds for rattling? Im looking to down size my load to the stand this year.

I have used them, but have not had any luck yet. I am wondering this as well; I haven't lost faith yet tho!

well, i've used a rattle bag before and it's really nice to carry something small and compact. you should really check out the new pack n' rack from the field and streem mag. small and compact but can still have the potential to bring in the big one. it's all a personal preference. they are both equivalent.

I us e a bad and have had decent luck with them. Its true they dont sound exactly like sheds or even full size rattlers but they make up for the size and convienence. Have found they sound good when used one hand against the ground and your leg

At the stoor I work at, I hear that the rattle bags work great. They project the sound more and sound the same. Some clients prefer them because of this and the size.

I bought a rattle bag and i took the plastic rods out and replaced them with tines cut off the main beams of and 8 point. Now it sounds just like a pair of sheds but in a light compact bag. it also doesnt sound like plastic klanking around.

I believe I am going to get a pack rack next year, I don't have any sheds to use and am usually a light weight hunter.
