Q:
Im pretty sure I stumbled in on a fresh scrape today while walking on my property... Will bucks make scrapes after the chase period and during the breeding phase? Is it something worth hanging a stand around?

Bucks (and does) will continue to use scrapes, though often at night, they do use them during the day this time of year. I'd doctor that scrape with some doe in heat and/or buck urine or tarsal, or both. Hunt it unless you have a better idea
To add to what steve said, if your plan to hunt it, do not sit right on top of the scrape. Sit 70-100 yards downwind of it. If a buck is going to check it during the day, he will stay downwind of the scrape to smell if another deer has visited it as well.
It is always worth putting a stand up near a scrape, but not right over it. place it at least 30 to 50 yard away, It really depends on what part of the country you are in and when you rut begins and ends. Good Hunting.
What they said is true. You want to far enough away from the scrape that you won't spook any bucks coming downwind of it. Good luck.
