no not realy even tho some breeds of cattle are more selective what they eat but even then about the only thing they will not eat is twigs and bark which i doubt a deer would find in short supply

There is not a forage or mast crop that I know of that cattle won't eat. Deer however do not find forage grasses very inviting, if you see one in a pasture it is probably eating native clovers or weeds.
