thats to bad,ive made 2 trips in archery season,not anything close enough to stick. going opening wkend next wk and if deer are still in area bad for them,good for me.i hope u have better luck in general season.

I'm 2-3 for the season. I missed a 21 yard shot at a turkey with my longbow. She saw me pull back and....well....I hate excuses....but..I think the earth shifted just before I released my arrow. Other than that my badass stick and string caused the demise of two bushytails. Not bad for an old man with bad eyes.

I had 6 doe and 6pt and an 8pt all within 25 yards last night. As luck would have it the big 8 pt stayed about 50 yds away. If he had come within 20 yards I would have traded him an arrow and broadhead for about 50lbs of meat. It sounds like a fair trade to me.
