Yes because they are wanting to mate. Sometimes they won't notice you as well because they are too busy looking for does. The best thing to do is set up a blind or treestand near a feeding and bedding area where does go and wait. A buck following a doe will evetually wander past your stand.

Yes i believe they do act a little different they tend to not be as active it seems like it slows down when the weather warms up the main thing is to consentrate on the food sorces because no matter how warm it is they will still be following the doe's where ever they go. where the doe's are feeding or getting water the bucks want be far behind you know alot of people hunt bucks during the rut and buck sign but i try and remeber where the i seen alot of females early in the season and go hunt them i dont go where i seen bucks because they aint there well you know where they are good luck remeber when its warm they will slow thier movement but it dont mean they changed thier minds about what they want.

I would have to agree with turk. I have found it slows down a bit in the warm weather. Gives deer the chance to do some extra feeding before alot of the forage is gone. Up here we dont get much warm weather after Oct. But still can have a nice sunny day. But stays on the cool side. Use extra scent and calling to get them off the bed and up and moving!

a cold snap usually triggers the seek and chase phase so look for the end of a warm spell in your area these next 2 weeks as a great time t be in the woods. warm weather kind of shuts major rutting activity down but bucks still move more than normal,
