That is a neat idea. Perhaps in the magazine since it would have more room to cover it.

What I would like to see is an article in each magazine about training your hunting dogs and this can include all types of dogs but I'd rather see training info than just info about the different breeds/types of dogs.

Great Answers and I agree 100%.
I'd like to see articles dedicated to different specific breeds and their multiple usage in hunting.

I'd like to see articles on how to train them as well
Rabbit dog, Deer Dog, Waterfowl etc.

I'd also like to see first aid and field care for dogs, kennel and gear for dog reviews.

crm3006 Read your previous post. Excellent point. The articles should stay on point and on target. They should be about the dog, animal not a tattoo that no one gives a rat behind about.

Give me an article on a Walker, Bluetick, Redbone, Black & Tan, Currs, Boykins, Bloodhounds, Bassetts, Beagles and the other great breeds and dog hunting

Deer Doggin in the South, Fall Turkey with Boykins, Squirrel hunting, Rabbit with Beagle, Well you get my point.

They also need to have heroic dog stories. You know the stories where a dog saves it's human (that's right most of our dogs own us)

Spartan88... Stick to the topic please, it's about Hunting Dogs and Breeds and educating ourselves and others on their capabilities, potential, the breed(history, lineage, charactoristics), usage and training. Heroic dogs would be a little too much once you culminate all of that and with the numerous hunting dogs out there you'd have.

Heroic dogs have their place as well but incorporates non hunting breeds you have rescue, drug, cadaver, law enforcement, military dogs etc that would take the place of an article on how to care for a your dogs feet, how to build a proper kennel, first aid, the dog breed itself etc.

I would probably not pick up the magazine if it went only about the history and such of the dog. I have books for that. I would prefer to read the stories about the dogs. So I think heroic hunting dogs is on topic and would get more readers than what history would.

Also, if they only did articles on the things you listed after a year of online articles or a couple years of magazines. It really would need some stories.

Spartan88: I'd like to see articles on Beagles Rabbit, Deer, Fox hunting, Walkers, Blueticks etc Coon, Deer Hunting. Boykins Turkey Huntin..
Showing their abilities and their grace.

When you add the waterfowl dogs, Upland dogs like Setters, Spaniels etc.

Then you have Currs, Black & Tans, Red Bone, English, Fox, American, Red Tick, Bloodhound, Bassetts and so many more that's alot of breeds to cover in field, training, care, health etc and since most of those dogs excell in S&R, Law Enforcement, Military I can see adding that in somewhere.

I would like articles to give non dog hunters and dog hunters alike a sense ofappreciation for the differant hunting styles other than Drives, Stand, Still, Archery, Rifle Hunting.
Because honestly my experience on here towards dog hunters (Deer hunting in particular) has been very biased and disheartening. There is almost no respect for them.
THIS IS NOT TO START ANOTHER DEBATE ON DEER DOGS!
I'm just trying to express my opinion

We are forgetting the heritage of hunting with dogs (Rabbit, Deer, Squirrel, Coon and our Younger generation doesn't know much about it or its history. Unless you've grown up with it how much do you really know and appreciate it?
